Great Reads #2: Half the Sky


Half the Sky by Nicholas D. Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn is an amazing, shocking, and eye-opening book about oppressed women around the world. It shares several stories of women that turn “oppression into opportunity” in amazing ways.

I normally am not a fan of nonfiction, but this book is amazing, and anyone, no matter what gender, should definitely read it.

Netflix is probably the best and worst thing that has ever happened to me. It has ruined my life, but at the same time made it so beautiful. (Okay, fine that’s an exaggeration but you get my point.) Anyway, since I got Netflix I have been watching waaay too much TV for my own good. Here’s a list of some awesome shows for you! (Most are on Netflix.)

Great Reads #1

I’m a reader. Most of the time you can find me in a corner with my nose buried in a book. When I was younger and I got in trouble and was grounded, I didn’t get my TV or computer taken away, I wasn’t allowed to read! Crazy, I know.
